Fascinating locations, sophisticated music, excellent local wines. It's the magical combination that makes the festival Enoarmonie 2022 (wine harmonies), starting on April 25th, so special. Organized by the musical association “Sergio Gaggia”, based in Cividale (Udine), and now running for its 26th edition, the festival will take visitors to unusual places all over Friuli Venezia Giulia: from ancient mansions to winemaking facilities, all of them will be resounding with chamber music played live by talented ensembles. And, at each concert, guided wine tastings of local winemakers' selections (and a couple from Piedmont and Sardinia, too) will get along nicely with the sweet harmonies, in an ideal synaesthesia between music and flavours. The perfect appointment for wine lovers, and wine tourism in Friuli.
The opening concert by quartet “L'Archicembalo”, on April 25th, will be set in the charming location of winemaking firm Pitars, in S. Martino al Tagliamento (Pordenone). Marcello Bianchi and Paola Nervi (violins), Claudio Merlo (cello) and Daniela Demicheli (harpsichord) will delight the audience with compositions by various authors, from Antonio Vivaldi to G. P. Telemann. The night's host will be journalist Marco Mauceri and Pitars' own wines will be up for the wine tastings: their white wine Turéis recently won the gold medal at Concours Mondial du Sauvignon in Portugal.
