A chance not to be missed for those who enjoy gourmet food, or who are simply curious and willing to discover how a Michelin star dish taste like. Among the 70 chefs presenting their special menus in Udine, there are cooking professionals from as far as Japan, like Yoshihiro Narisawa from Tokyo (owner of two-starred restaurant Les Créations de Narisawa), or from India like Himanshu Saini (owner of one-starred Trèsind Studio restaurant in Dubai), from Istanbul, Turkey like Maksut Aşkar (where he owns Neolokal restaurant) and from nearby Slovenia like Ana Roš, unconventional chef at two-starred Hiša Franco. There'll be high level chef of the likes of Norbert Niederkofler, from three-starred St. Hubertus (at Hotel Rosa Alpina in Bolzano, Trentino Alto Adige) and Massimo Bottura from Osteria Francescana, the three-starred restaurant in Modena (Emilia Romagna) that's been nominated the best in the world multiple times. Food lovers, hold on tight and check the program!
Of course, as the name of the event itself suggets (“ein prosit” means “a toast”), wine tastings are the very core of Ein Prosit. The main goal is to offer wine lovers adn wine enthusiasts, and especially to beginners, an opportunity to approach Italian and international quality wines presented by wine experts. Each tasting has a limited number of available seats and an entrance fee, so they must be booked in advance directly through Ein Prosit website (info here). The wine experts hosting the wine tastings are: Francesco Annibali, Armando Castagno, Gianluca Castellano, Jacopo Cossater, Matteo Gallello, Luca Gardini, Paolo Ianna, Alberto Lupetti, Oscar Mazzoleni, Lorenza Pravato & Alessio Rozzi, Gae Saccoccio, Eugenio Signoroni, Enzo Vizzari.
All the wine tastings' locations are in Udine: Ginger Bar, Castle of Udine (in the city centre), Palazzo d'Aronco, Hotel Astoria, Osteria Pulesi.

Over the years, Ein Prosit has been able to host some of the greatest Italian chefs proposing some of their dishes combined with Friuli Venezia Giulia's wines. Thus, wine lovers have been able to please their palate and to appreciate Italian cuisine in its greatest expressions. This time around, international cuisine too will be combined with local ingredients to give attendees an even deeper culinary experience. Laboratori dei Sapori, discovering food stories with tasting workshops
A journey through Friulian and Italian culinary traditions, with a focus on traditional products like cheese and hams. At the Laboratorio dei Sapori, food experts Renato Grando, Alberto Marcomini, Bernardo Pasquali and Bepi Pucciarelli will educate foodies and wine lovers on different topics, while tasting food paired with the perfect wine. Seats are limited and the workshops have an entrance fee, so you'd better check on the website and book your laboratorio (info here). The Laboratori dei Sapori will be held in Palazzo Kechler and at Galleria Tina Modotti (Tina Modotti Gallery, at the former fish market's premises) in Udine.
