The collaboration between the Consortium and “Nuovi Amici” based the research and experimentation started in 2020 on the occasion of its twentieth anniversary. They will be joined by the 47 partners - including winemakers, distillers and food artisans - who are part of the consortium. In all, a strong network of 86 subjects,who represent the best of FVG food and wine Industry,well motivated after the difficult months of the pandemic.
The ten evenings will be truly special and exciting, as on each one a new menu will be created by two top FVG chefs from the Consortium's restaurants and two from the local Amici. During the dinner six courses will be matched with selected local wines: to complete the culinary experience, the desserts will be created by master pastry chefs and chocolatiers from the region, and matced with local made spirits.
The dishes have been designed by the chefs specifically for this series of events, with the express purpose of sublimating tradition, making it contemporary and enhancing tastes through new visions and techniques. Each one followed its own path: some started with the products of Friuli Venezia Giulia, working a traditional ingredient in a completely different way than usual. Others have updated a historic dish, while continuing to use the same ingredients. Still others used modern techniques to enhance, lighten, modernize traditional recipes.

The dinners will take place in venues associated with Friuli Venezia Giuli Via dei Sapori, with the exception of Trieste, where the evening will be set on the sea, hosted by a restaurant belonging to the organizing network. Reservations are required and must be made directly to the restaurants; the site is always updated on the latest reservations availability.
